Attackers on the anti-discrimination student-crowd are now roaming openly in Madanpur area of Dhaka-Chittagong highway of Bandar upazila of Narayanganj district.

Those attacking criminals are roaming openly in the shelter of Bandar Upazila BNP President Mazaharul Islam Hiran. The family of an injured student cannot file a case due to their fear.

At least 30 people including two were injured in the attack and firing on the student crowd led by Awami League leader MA Salam Chairman, Chhatra League leader Ahiduzzaman Ahid and Amir in Keodhala and Madanpur area on August 4. The name of a student who was shot is Al Amin (17). He is a first year Alim student of Riazul Uloom Alim Madrasa, Mandpur. His father's name is Shah Alam Ghazi, a tenant of Halim Mia's house in Chanpur area of Madanpur Union.

Injured student Al Amin said that we anti-discrimination students were stationed under Madanpur bus stand footover bridge on Dhaka-Chittagong highway from 10 am on August 4. At around 12 noon, thousands of students gathered in a procession and reached in front of the Keodhala Bengal Biscuit Factory on the highway. At that time hundreds of Awami League leaders and activists led by Madanpur UP Chairman MA Salam and Chhatra League Ahid attacked and openly fired shots at the procession of students.

At that time, two people including me were shot, many people were injured. The injured were admitted to several local hospitals. It is not possible to file a case against the attackers as the attackers, who are friends of that dictatorship, are now aligned with the leaders of BNP.

Meanwhile, several leaders and activists of Madanpur Union BNP said that after Sheikh Hasina left the country on August 5, the attackers including Chalam Chairman, Chhatra League leader Ahiduzzaman Ahid, Amir Osman's associate Amir, fled the area.

But all those criminals turned BNP workers and stayed in the field under the cover of upazila BNP president Mazharul Islam Hiran.

While preparing for robbery : Joint forces arrested 4 robbers in Rupganj

Joint forces arrested four robbers including gangchief Shraban with native weapons while preparing for robbery in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj district.

At this time, tools including sharp weapons used in the robbery were recovered. They were arrested from Tarabo Dakshinpara area of Tarabo municipality of the upazila on Wednesday night.

The arrested are Shraban, son of Masud Bhuiya of Dakshinpara area of Tarabo municipality, Siam Pradhan, son of Rahim Pradhan, Shahed Bhuiya, son of Sohel Bhuiya, Vijay, son of Rafiq.

Officer-in-charge of Rupganj police station OC Liaqat Ali said that through secret information, it was known that the terrorists of Shraban force were preparing for robbery in Tarabo Bazar area of Tarabo municipality. On the basis of such news, a joint operation was conducted there.

At that time, the four robbers along with the head of the Shravan force, Shravan, were arrested and the domestic sharp weapons and equipment used in the robbery were recovered. A case has been filed against them under regular law.
