National Social Service Day celebrated with various programmes in Khulna

National Social Service Day was celebrated in Khulna through various programs including walkathon, free chat, prize distribution on Thursday . This year's theme of the day is 'No one beside him, he has social service'.
On this occasion, while inaugurating the walkathon at the city's Shibbari intersection, Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Feroz Sarkar said that the Department of Social Services does humanitarian work for the people of the society. The way this department is working alongside the helpless people is really worthy of praise. The Divisional Commissioner appealed to all to spread their messages in the society through this walkathon.
Later, n the conference room of the district social service office, prize distribution and free chat was held among the winners of the walk-thon, the students who participated in the July uprising and the girls of July. Director of Divisional Social Service Office Anindita Roy, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev and HR Management) Nurul Hai Mohammad Anach, Deputy Director of District Social Service Office Kaniz Mostafa, former Deputy Director of District Social Service Office Khan Motahar Hossain and others were present.
Before this, the walkathon was started from Shibbari intersection of the city through Moylapota to the district social service office. People of different classes and professions participated in it.
