Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) National Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan said that the autocratic ruler of this country for a decade and a half has fallen through the revolution of the student masses. The country became independent only due to the sacrifice of the students. Gun bullets could not suppress the students of this country. The students have raised their heads in the face of bullets. Only the students can make the country honorable.

He said these while speaking as the chief guest at the reception of Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, the education affairs secretary of the central committee of the nationalist party BNP and the vice chancellor of the Open University.

Shamim, Bagerhat District BNP Convener ATM Akram Hossain Talim and others also spoke at the rally held at the Abdul Aziz Memorial Secondary School ground in Morelganj Upazila Sadar on Saturday afternoon.
