The victim's family held a press conference in protest against the propaganda and false press conference of land robbers Ibrahim Khalil, Joynal Abdin and Yusuf Gong of Uttar Jagdananda village of Ward No. 5 of Dhansiri Uni in Kabirhat Upazila, Noakhali.

The press conference was held at the office of a local newspaper in Maijdi, the district town of Noakhali, on Saturday.

At the press conference, a written statement was read out on behalf of the victim's family by a victim named Abdul Halim. In his written statement, he said that they did not stop even after filing about 26 cases and losing in the Civil Revision 389/05 case in the Honorable High Court and due to two-sided sources. I, through you, seek justice from the current administration regarding the fraud and forgery of the fraudulent land robbers Ibrahim Khalil, Joynal Abdin, Yusuf Gong and strongly condemn and protest against their alleged lies, fabrications, and false news brought against me and my family without documents. At the same time, I challenge Khalil Gong regarding the ownership of the land claimed by him that if my sister does not get the land after reviewing the papers through you, I will leave with a bond. And if they have the courage to take the papers through you. On behalf of our family, my sister, my father, my brother, my relatives, I always give priority to the society, administration, local dignitaries and political figures.

He said, on 20/12/2024, instead of going to the mosque, some tenants planted rice on the land owned by my sister at noon. Then, on behalf of my sister, we went to Kabirhat police station and informed the officer-in-charge, who sent the police again from the police station and asked them to come to the police station and gave a written notice.

Then, when both the plaintiff and the defendant parties appeared at the police station, the defendants could not show the documents. At one point, Ibrahim Khalil and Joynal Abdin cleverly left the police station, switched off their mobile phones and ran away. The OC himself called their number, but their phone was switched off. Then the OC said that they had run away because they did not have the documents. Then, Ibrahim Khalil and Joynal Abidin went to Kamrul Huda Chowdhury Liton, the president of the Upazila BNP, and complained against us. We went to Kamrul Huda Chowdhury Liton and explained the details to him, saying that if my sister cannot show her ownership documents, then my sister will never claim that land. Then Kamrul Huda Chowdhury Liton called them again. Then they took 2 days to hold a false press conference against me on 29/12/24 to tarnish my reputation and humiliate me. However, I live in Maimajdi. This land robber Ibrahim Khalil accused me of extortion regarding a road, whereas my father gave almost 15 hundred acres of land to build a road for people to travel on.

In his written statement, he also said that land robber Ibrahim Khalil filed an extortion case against my brother Md. Shahjahan in the Sinoy Judicial Magistrate Court in 2011. The case, case no. 412/2011, was sent to the office of former chairman of Sundalpur Union Md. Abdur Rahim of Kabirhat Police Station for investigation. When the plaintiff Ibrahim Khalil forged the signature of the chairman and submitted a report to the court, the court took cognizance of the case.

After we learned about the defendants in the 412/11 case, when Md. Abdur Rahim was summoned by the chairman, he signed an affidavit with a non-judicial stamp of 150/- taka in the court and stood in the court and said that this signature was not his. The plaintiff forged his signature and submitted the report to the court. Then the defendants in the case were granted bail. And he was accused as a fraud.

At that time, Abdul Halim's father Abul Hashem, sister Hosneara Begum, local BNP leader Sheikh Ahmed, Habib Ullah, Anwar Hossain, Azizul Haque, Abdul Malek, Mominul Haque, Shafiq Ullah, Anwar Hossain, and people from different classes of the village were present.
