A madrasa teacher named Abdur Rashid (55) has been arrested by the Domar Police Station following a complaint by a disabled woman against a madrasa teacher and village doctor in Domar, Nilphamari.

The incident took place on Friday (July 28) around seven o'clock in the night at a place called Melapanga Bhatia Para New Bazar of Pangamtukpur Union of Domar Upazila.

The arrested teacher is Pangachoupathi Abdul Majid Alim Madrasa Vice Principal

In addition to the duties, homeopathy is said to be engaged in the profession of village doctor.

Suman Islam's disabled wife Kajli Begum (24) of Ward No. 4 of the same union was present at the funeral. In front of the house, Abdur Rashid, the son of the deceased Kofil Uddin of New Bazar, is a homeopathy doctor. That day, around seven o'clock in the evening, the child of disabled woman Kajali Begum developed fever in his shop.

When she went to seek treatment, the woman was molested and tortured and filed a complaint. Such an incident has created a sensation in the area.

The complainant said that in the evening I took my little child to the medicine shop when he had fever. As soon as he went, he pulled the curtain of his shop and started talking to me rudely Later, at one point, when my husband appeared and touched different parts of my body, a scuffle started.

Suman Islam, the husband of disabled Kajli, said, "When my little child leaves home with fever, I also follow my wifeAbdur Rashid's misdeeds came to my notice, immediately he started shouting and ran away from the shop in front of the people present. Later UP Chairman Abdul Hakeem Bhutt informed the matter.

When speaking to the concerned UP Chairman, he confirmed the truth of the incident.

When spoken on the phone, Domar police station officer in-charge Mahamudu Un Nabi confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the accused was arrested and sent to the district jail through the court on the basis of the complaint of the woman and child abuse case. Case No.-22/2023.
