A mass outreach and leaflet distribution program was held in Sarishabari, Jamalpur, with the aim of implementing the 31-point plan announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and creating public opinion.
The leaflets were distributed among the public at Rudra Boyra Ekushey intersection in Pogaldigha Union of the upazila in the afternoon.
Pogaldigha Union Jubo Dal President Sakibul Hasan Sumon Fakir, Senior Vice President Sheikh Zakir Hossain, Sechchhasebak Dal President Liton Talukder, General Secretary Zahidul Islam Sohag and other leaders and activists from different wards were present at the time.
While distributing leaflets, the speakers said that the people's right to vote has been taken away in Bangladesh. BNP's 31-point proposal is aimed at reforming the state structure and establishing a people's government. The people must be informed about Tarique Rahman's 31-point proposal. After the fall of the dictatorial government, the main task of the interim government is to ensure minimum state reforms and a fair and impartial election. The people's vote is the only way out of this crisis.
