The 24th winter clothes distribution program-2024 was held in Gazipur under the joint initiative of Journalist Society for Gazipur and Uttaran Health Education and Environmental Development Support on Monday.

Winter clothes were distributed among the poor and helpless and the tender children of the madrasa at Baitur Rahman Rashidiya Shamsia Qawmi Madrasa, Ward No. 25, Madhya Bhurulia, Gazipur.

The distribution program was presided over by Muhammad Mujibur Rahman Patwari, President of Journalist Society for Gazipur and former President of Gazipur District Press Club, and Dr. Abdus Sabur Khan Arj, Associate Professor of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital, was present as the chief guest and journalist and columnist Titu Sarkar was present as the special guest.

Among others, Mahmuda Afroz (Liza), Organizing Secretary of Journalist Society for Gazipur and Traveling Correspondent of Dainik Bhorer Chetna, was present at the event.

Director of Baitur Rahman Rashidiya Shamsia Qawmi Madrasa Mohammad Nurul Alam said, "I sincerely thank the president of the organization for distributing winter clothes among the poor, helpless and vulnerable children of our Baitur Rahman Rashidiya Shamsia Qawmi Madrasa in the 24th winter clothes distribution program jointly organized by Journalist Society for Gazipur, Uttaran Health Education and Environmental Development Support and wish the success of Journalist Society for Gazipur, Uttaran Health Education and Environmental Development Support."

The chief guest at the winter clothes distribution program, Dr. Abdus Sabur Khan Arz, said, "I am grateful to the president of the organization for having me as the chief guest at the program. I feel blessed to be present at such a program."

Special guest of the event, journalist Titu Sarkar said, "For the past 24 years, winter clothes have been distributed among the students of various madrasas of Gazipur and the lower-class helpless people of Uttaran Health Education and Environmental Development Support under the joint initiative of Journalists Society for Gazipur and Uttaran Health Education and Environmental Development Support. As a journalist, I wish the success of the organization and sincerely thank the president of the organization."

President of Journalists Society for Gazipur Muhammad Mujibur Rahman Patwari said, "For the past 24 years, we have been continuously distributing winter clothes among the poor, helpless and vulnerable children of various madrasas of Gazipur through our organization and this program will continue."

Organizing Secretary of Journalists Society for Gazipur and mobile correspondent of Dainik Bhorer Chetonar newspaper, Mahmuda Afroz (Liza) said, "For the past 24 years, our organization has been distributing winter clothes among the students of various madrasas and the lower-class helpless people."
