On the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of Awami League in Bhuapur of Tangail, a counter-programme of MP candidates has been held in the upcoming National Assembly elections.

The program includes joy procession, cake cutting, sweet distribution and doa mahfil.

On Friday (June 23) at 10:30 am, freedom fighter Masudul Haque Masud, MP candidate Bhuapur Municipal Mayor and Upazila Awami League President took out a joyous procession from the upazila Awami League office.

The joy procession went to the party office after circling the main main road of the city, where cake cutting, discussion meeting and prayer ceremony were held.

Upazila Awami League Vice President Samaran Dutta, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Alif Noor Mini, Joint Secretary Sahinul Islam Tarafdar Badal, Nikrail UP Chairman Masudul Haque Masud, former president and former chairman of Gobindasi Union Awami League spoke at the meeting.

Aminul Islam Amin, Municipal Awami League President Abdul Bachet Mondal and others.

On the other hand, a joyous procession was taken out from the Upazila Parishad square under the leadership of MP Chhota Monir of Tangail-2 Constituency at 4:30 pm. The procession ends at the party office via the bus stand. Later cake cutting, distribution of sweets, discussion meeting and doa mahfil were held.
