Fair of Saint Sannyasi and Bauls ends in Mahasthangarh

The fair of Mahasthangarh saint monks and Bauls ended with zikr and worship.
This meeting was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Thursday.
It is said that the victory day of Hazrat Shah Sultan Mahmud Balkhi (RA) is the last Thursday of Baisakh. Yesterday which is observed as Ursh. A fair is held in Mahasthan on the occasion of Orsha. Going to the ground, it can be seen that lakhs of people have gathered in this meeting.
Saint monks from different parts of the country secretly consumed and sold Cannabis. At the end of the day, as evening falls, the devotees spent the night dancing and singing various songs including Shariat, Marifat, Tarikat, Haqikat and other songs in and around the shrine.
Apart from this, the devotees spent the whole night in zikir and worship at the shrine mosque. This time in the fair, the business of Mahasthan's traditional sweet 'Katkati' has seen a downturn.
A substantial presence of law and order forces was observed in Warsaw. No traffic jam was observed on the road.
Shibganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tahmina Akhter, secretary of the shrine committee, said that this year's festival and fair ended in a good atmosphere. Upazila administration have performed tireless duty to ensure the safety of pilgrims. Devotees have returned to their respective areas after offering prayers today.
