Eviction drive begins on both sides of roads, highways in Bagerhat

Roads and Highways Department (RHD), Bagerhat has started evicting more than a thousand illegal unpaved, unpaved and unpaved constructions on both sides of the 40-kilometer regional highway up to the intersection of Pirojpur to Nawapara Bishwa Road under the control of Bagerhat RHD.
This eviction drive started from the Daratana Bridge area adjacent to Bagerhat city on Wednesday morning led by RHD Bagerhat Executive Engineer Md. Ashraful Alam Prang, RHD , Khulna Zone Estate and Law Officer,
Pijus Chandra Dey conducted this eviction drive. Estate and Law Officer of RHD Khulna Zone, Pijus Chandra Dey said that the pressure of transport on the road has increased due to the opening of the Padma Bridge.
The work of demolishing all illegal structures on both sides of the road will continue so that vehicles can move smoothly on the road without any hindrance.
