Eight noted singers collaborate for a album

Eight prominent artistes of the country have collaborated for a music album titled “Oishorjo”. The singers are Syed Abdul Hadi, Tapan Chowdhury, Kumar Bishwajit, Samina Chowdhury, Agun, Shafin Ahmed, Partha Barua and Bappa Mazumder.
The lyrics of the album’s songs have been penned by Asif Iqbal. Shahbaz Khan Pilu, Mir Masum and Kishore Das have done the music arrangement and composition.
The album features eight tracks titled- “Aj Ki Bhebe”, “Amar E Gaan”, “Ar Kono Anutap Nei”, “Ei Jiboner Pothe Pothe”, “Andha Abeg”, “Andar Bahir”, “Pichhu Na Phire” and “Bhorer Surjalok”.
About the album, Asif Iqbal said, “When the history of Bengali music is written, these artistes will be considered as the treasure of our music. From that idea, we have made this album and named it “Oishorjo”.
We have initiated this project to make the younger generation more interested in these legendary artistes and to give the older audience a taste of nostalgia. The tracks will be released under the banner of Gaanchill Music throughout the month. I hope the audience will like it.”
The songs will be released serially from tomorrow. Along with the lyrical videos on Gaanchill Music’s YouTube channel, the audio songs will be available on all domestic and international audio streaming platforms.
