Eid-e -Miladunnabi celebrared in Betagi

The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) was celebrated with due dignity with religious solemnity at Betagi in Barguna on Monday.
On this occasion, at sunrise, the national flag was hoisted in government, semi-government buildings, autonomous institutions and private buildings. Discussion meetings and prayers were organized in 183 educational, cultural and religious institutions of the upazila, including the upazila administration.
The upazila administration organized a discussion programme under the chairmanship of Betagi upazila executive officer Farooq Ahmed at the upazila parishad conference room at 11 am.
The main speaker was Imam Hafez Maulana of Upazila Model Mosque Atiqur Rahman. Upazila Social Service Officer Md Masum Billah, President of the Upazila Imam Association Saidul Islam Sohrab and Md. Jihad Khan were present.
The Weekly Bishkhali Editor Abdus Salam Siddiqui and various religious representatives and government officials were present at this time.
