Conscious students of Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS) held a rally and human chain on Darus Salam Road adjacent to the university campus at 11 am on Thursday in protest against the Israeli attack on Gaza and in solidarity with the demand for an independent Palestinian state.

BUHS Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Faridul Alam, Deans, Registrar, Proctor, teachers and officials of the university participated in the programme by supporting and solidarity with the programme of the students.

Students participating in the rally carried various placards reading "Free Palestine", "Stop Genocide", "No War, "Restore Peace" and strongly protested all kinds of Israeli attacks on Palestine. By displaying the flag of Palestine alongside Bangladesh, they expressed solidarity with the country's independence movement. At the end of the rally, they formed a human bond in front of the main gate of BUHS.

BUHS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Faridul Alam, present at Human Bond, said in his speech, “Thousands of people have been killed in continuous Israeli attacks on Palestine, millions of people have been displaced from their homes, and all the people of that country, including women and children, are living an extremely inhumane life today. , which has shaken the conscience of the world today.

We strongly condemn all aggression in Palestine, including by Israel, and seek the protection of all citizens of that country." He expressed his solidarity with all international programs to stop Israeli attacks on Palestine and to support the country's demand for independence.

At this time, the dean of the public health faculty of the university expressed his gratitude to all the students, teachers and officials for their participation in the program. Md. Anwar Hossain.

The Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Professor Dr. Sharmin Parveen, Registrar Professor Dr. Zahid Hasan, Dr. Proctor. Thousands of students along with teachers and officials including Nasreen Nahar participated in the rally and human bonding.
