Body of young man found after two days of missing in Purbachal

Police recovered the body of a youth named Gaurang Chandra Das (35) two days after he went missing in Rupganj of Narayanganj.
His body was recovered from the ground floor of the Purbachal Bangabandhu China Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition Center of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon.
Gaurang Chandra Das is the son of Lalit Mohan of Kaladi area of Kanchan Municipality in Rupganj. He used to work on video programs in various events in the area.
Locals said that on Sunday morning, Gaurang Chandra Das left his house to cut his hair in Kanchanbazar. Later, at around 11 pm, he had the last conversation with his sister-in-law Krishna Gopal on mobile. Since then the mobile phone was also found switched off. No trace of him was found. After that on Tuesday after seeing his dead body lying at the Purbachal Bangabandhu China Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition Center, they informed the police and they came and recovered body.
OC of Rupganj Police Station Deepak Chandra Saha said, the family members of the missing person came and identified the body as that of the missing Gaurang Das. Initially, no signs of injury were found on the body. The body has been sent to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for postmortem.
