BGB destroys drugs worth Tk 3 cr in Lalmonirhat

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) destroyed drugs worth about 3 crore taka in Lalmonirhat. These drugs were seized from the borders of Lalmonirhat and Kurigram on Wednesday.
BGB held a program at its 15th battalion training ground. They used hammers and machines to destroy drugs like phensidyl, cannabis, yaba, and other narcotics.
Brigadier General S M Jahidur Rahman was the main guest. He said BGB has zero tolerance for drugs and asked everyone to work together to stop them.
Officials, police, students, journalists, and local people attended the event. They praised BGB’s efforts.
A "Say No to Drugs" slogan made from drugs was displayed. It showed BGB’s message to create awareness and build a drug-free society.
