Alikadam Battalion detained 26 Myanmar nationals including children

Bangladesh arrested 26 Myanmar nationals (FDMN), including children, who were infiltrating into Bangladesh on the Myanmar border route during a routine anti-smuggling operation by "Alikdam Battalion 57 BGB" at Alikadam in Bandarban.

Among them, 10 men, 7 women, 6 children, 3 girls and 26 displaced persons were arrested by Alikadam Battalion 57 BGB.

On July 16 (Tuesday) at 12:30 PM, Alikadam Battalion 57 BGB Captain Lt. Col. Akib Javed, under the guidance of PSC, Naib Subedar Md. Kamal Uddin led a patrolling team of BGB, approximately 10 km southeast of the battalion headquarters, Kalaichhara, Kurukpata Union of Alikadam Upazila.
