3 members of car theft gang arrested in Kulaura

Police arrested three members of a car theft gang in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar. They were arrested on Tuesday night and sent them to court on Wednesday afternoon.
The arrested are - Kamrul Hasan (21), son of Taimuz Mia alias Bagha Member of Brahmanbazar Union of the upazila, Emdadul Haque Emran (30), son of the deceased Elaich Mia of the same union, and Salauddin (20), son of Ummati Mia of Kamarchak Union of Rajnagar Upazila.
Police said that on Tuesday night, based on information, three active members of an organized car theft gang were arrested in a raid in Brahmanbazar Union of the upazila, led by SI Amir Uddin and Habibur Rahman in front of a shop on Brahmanbazar-Shamsernagar road.
Kulaura Police Station OC Md. Golam Apsar said that there is a theft case against the arrested persons at the police station.
