The Army celebrated the joy of the Christmas Day with Christians in the remote mountains of Bandarban on Wednesday.

Under the supervision of the Army's 97th Infantry Brigade, Christians and churches in various neighborhoods and churches in the areas under the responsibility of Sungsung Para Army Camp and Bagalek Para Army Camp under the responsibility of 1 Bir (The Gallant One) of Ruma Zone celebrated the Christmas Day by distributing cakes and giving gifts to children.

At this time, the residents of the neighborhood were excited to share the joy of celebrating the big day with the Army. In addition to providing security in the remote mountains, as part of harmony and development activities, the Army organized various programs including medical camps in remote areas, distribution of winter clothes, and friendly football competitions on the occasion of the Day.

The Army carried out these activities throughout the week to celebrate the big day in a total of 25 remote areas of Ruma and Thanchi upazilas, including Rsungsung Para, Thaikong Para, Notun Romana Para, Old Romana Para, Lon Thauchi Para, Udyomi Jadipai Para, Jadipai Para, Darjeeling Para, Dhopanichara Para, Khumi Para, Bogalek Para, Saikat Para, Notun Kest Para, Old Kest Para, Janram Para, Rungtan Para, Prong Fung Para, Harmon Para, Kamala Bazar Para, Fineng Para, Khulian Para, Liantong Khumi Para, Keutai Para, Angsai Khumi Para, Anand Para.
