On the occasion of celebrating the 163rd birth anniversary of the poet Rabindranath Tagore, a grand program has been organized for 3 days from Wednesday ( 8th May 25th Baishakh) at the Kacharibari Angan of Kabir Zamindari Tadarki located in Dwariapur of Shahjadpur Upazila of Sirajganj.

National level artists of India-Bangladesh along with television and radio artists of Sirajganj and Shahjadpur will perform music on this occasion. Apart from this, there are dance, recitation, poetry writing, song and dance drama, drama performance and essay discussion.

Eminent poets, writers and intellectuals of the country will participate in the essay discussion.Land Minister Narayan Chandra Chand MP will be present as the chief guest on the first day of the 3-day program organized by the Sirajganj district administration with the funding of the Ministry of Culture.

Special guests will be Sirajganj-6 (Shahzadpur) Member of Parliament Chayan Islam and other MPs of Sirajganj, Rabindra University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr.Md. Shah Azam Sirajganj District Commissioner Mir Md. Mahbubur Rahman will preside over this event.Around this event, Rabindra Kacharibari Angan and important roads and intersections of Shahjadpur city have been decorated colorfully by construction of arches and lighting.Kacharibari arena has already become full of poets and fans.Shahjadpur upazila administration is in charge of this event.

Shahjadpur's prominent drama personality Kazi Shawkat said that all the preparations for this year's program have been completed with national level artists from the country and abroad.Hopefully this year's event will be more romantic and interesting.
