Tk 6 lakh robbed from bKash businessman in Kaliakoir

The snatchers took away Tk 6 lakhs from Bkash businessman Farooq Hossain after cracking a cocktail at Kaliakoir in Gazipur on Monday night.
The snatchers came to a private car in Shafipur Market and committed this robbery. Shimul Hossain, a nearby grocer, was injured while trying to save the Bkash businessman.
According to eyewitnesses , Farooq Hossain, a Bkash businessman on Jamuna Road in Safipur Bazar of the Upazila, closed his shop at around 10.30 pm on Monday and left to go home.
Meanwhile, a group of snatchers created panic by cracking a few cocktails. The snatchers then snatched away the bag of money belonging to Bkash businessman Farooq Hossain.
When Shimul Hossain, a nearby grocer, came forward, the snatchers threw cocktails at him and seriously injured him. Later, the snatchers fled quickly with the help of a private car with 6 lakhs of Bkash businessman.
Officer- in- Charge (OC) of Kaliakoir Police Station Riyad Mahmud said that the miscreants stole some money from Bkash shopkeeper and fled.
Efforts are on to find out and arrest those involved in the robbery.
