Dohar Press Club election held :Tarek Rajib President, Sany Secretary

The triennial election of the Dohar Press Club was completed in Doha Upazila of Dhaka.
On Monday afternoon.
Since there were no more than one candidate in the triennial election for 10 posts, only 10 candidates were elected for the 2024-27 term.
The elected are - News 39 Editor Md. Tarek Rajib as President, Samakal Correspondent Mahbubur Rahman Tipu as Senior Vice President, Nowroz Staff Reporter Md. Oli Ahmed as vice president, Bijoy TV's Dhaka South Correspondent Md. Ataur Rahman Sani as General Secretary, Asian TV Correspondent Abu Naeem Mohammad Taimia as Assistant General Secretary, Daily Ajker Darpan Correspondent Naznin Shikder as Office Secretary, Daily Ajker Patrika Correspondent Md. Sharif Hasan as the Finance Secretary, Daily Khaborer Alo Correspondent Md. Asad Mahmud as the publicity and publication secretary, Daily Khabor Patra Correspondent Md. Kamal Hossain as Information and Research Secretary, and Daily Sakaler Somoy Correspondent Md. Al Amin Hossain as the Sports Secretary.
At that time, Dohar Police Station provided overall support in the election. Representatives of the Dohar Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, 25 members of the Doha Press Club, and all journalists working in the upazila were present.
Later, after the committee was announced, the elected were welcomed with flowers.
