Protest march demanding arrest of those who insulted Prophet in Chilmari

A protest march was held in Chilmari, Kurigram, demanding the arrest of Nahid Hasan Knowledge, the greatest prophet of all time, through social media on Saturday.
After Maghrib prayers, the devotees took out a protest march from Thanahat Bazar Central Mosque and marched through the Bazar, College intersection to Chilmari Model Police Station, demanding the immediate arrest and punishment of Nahid Hasan Knowledge.
Then the march ended by blocking the road in front of the Upazila Parishad again. At this time, local Muslims and leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement spoke. They said that Nahid Hasan Knowledge is an extortionist and an atheist. He insulted the Prophet, so they demanded that this atheist and scoundrel be brought under the law as soon as possible and punished.
Accused Nahid Hasan Knowledge is the son of former freedom fighter commander Abdul Mannan of Ward No. 1 Chilmari Model Police Station OC Md. Mosahed Khan said that legal action will be taken after investigation into the matter.
