Army Chief joins ORCA reunion in Rajshahi Cadet College

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman today joined the three-day reunion of Old Rajshahi Cadets Association (ORCA), an organization of the former cadets of Rajshahi Cadet College.
Today was the last day of the 14th reunion organized by the ORCA while the Army Chief attended the final day event as the chief guest, said in an ISPR press release.
Chairman of the Cadet College Governing Council Major General Md Masudur Rahman, college Principal Muhammad Abdul Kabir and ORCA President Md Jahangir Kabir Talukder and invited guests welcomed the army chief on his arrival at the Rajshahi Cadet College.
Later, General Waker-Uz-Zaman inaugurated the programme of the reunion and received salute in a colourful parade participated by current and former cadets.
Addressing the current and former cadets, the army chief recalled the contribution of the cadets in building the country and the nation.
He wished the cadets a success and their further prosperity and urged them to devote themselves for serving the nation.
Former cadets of the college, local senior military officials, local civil administration officials and teachers and cadets of the Rajshahi Cadet College were present on the occasion.
