Pin removal program to protect trees begins in Rajshahi

A one month long tree pin removal program has begun to protect in Rajshahi. This program organized by Rajshahi Social Forest Department. Additional Deputy Commissioner Tuktuk Talukder inaugurated the program at Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner's Office premises in the morning.
Referring to the realization that the tree lives on Wednesday, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the tree supplies us oxygen and absorbs carbon dioxide from the environment. We cannot find these benefits of the tree. It is very difficult. He said that removing the nail on the tree is not possible with the government-private offices and students.
Every person has to come forward in this program together. Not only does a month -long program do not have to increase public awareness among the people. Otherwise, it will be seen that the nail is dying in the tree again next month. Then this purpose will not be successful. Therefore, the main aim of this program will be to increase public awareness by promoting the benefits of the tree among the people.
Rajshahi Social Forest Department Divisional Forest Officer Rafiquzzaman Shah presided over the function. Rajshahi College Associate Professor Dr. Md. Mantaz Ali Sarkar, BRAC Bank's Distribution Network Branch and Cluster Manager Dulal Mia was present.
Officers of various government-private offices, coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement and representatives of various educational institutions were present.
