Many earn their living by selling 'Jilapi ' during winter in Hathazari

If there is no sweets in the festival or guest entertainment! In the list of mouth-watering sweets, there is also the name of Chanar Jilapi. It's not like a normal jalapeño. Although the name is Jilapi, it is quite soft to eat. Toitumbur chick jillapi in juice can be easily made anywhere. During the winter season, many people have made a living by selling Jilapi once a year. It is quite easy to make Jilapi at roadside shops.

On the surface, at zero point of the bus station of Hathazari municipality, several shops in a row are seen making and selling jalapenos in a well-developed and beautiful environment. Talked to Kamrul, Mana Sumon and several Jilapi traders, they said that every year in the winter season, they sell me Jilapi for extra profit. We make and sell Sira by boiling sugar, water and cinnamon into a delicious syrup. This delicious dish is a popular dish in rural areas. That is why this food is in demand in winter. There is no dearth of Jilapi flavor known to all.

The artisans said that the delicious Jilapi is made with various ingredients including rice powder, flour, oil, sugar and jaggery mixture. Jilapi is the favorite food of people of all ages. Jilapi prices also vary according to size and shape. But jalapi made of palm molasses is slightly more. Even though the price of Jilapi is a little higher this year compared to last year, no one is wrong to eat Jilapi.

Osman who came to buy Jilapi said that it is very fun to eat Jilapi in winter. Other times it's not that fun, so sometimes we come here to buy jellybeans.

Although Jilapi is made throughout the year, there is a huge demand for Jilapi for four consecutive months during the winter season. So seasonal shopkeepers are inclined to make Jilapi. There are many Jilapi shops in the village markets. Each shop on the footpath sells an average of 14-15 thousand rupees per day. However, Jilapi is sold at Tk 200 per kg in village market stalls and village markets.
