Even though the price of Jilapi is a little higher this year compared to last year, no one is wrong to eat Jilapi.

Although Jilapi is made throughout the year, there is a huge demand for Jilapi for four consecutive months during the winter season. So seasonal shopkeepers are inclined to make Jilapi. There are many Jilapi shops in the village markets. Each shop on the footpath sells an average of 14-15 thousand rupees per day. However, Jilapi is sold at Tk 200 per kg in village market stalls and village markets.
