LGED engineers urged to build quality sustainable infrastructures

A review meeting on the progress of various developmental activities under LGED was held at LGED headquarters on Monday.

The chief guest in the said review meeting was Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperative Ministry and Ministry of Agriculture Adviser A, F, Hasan Arif.

In the speech of the chief guest, he said that LGED works to improve the destiny of people across the country. He urged the students of LGED engineers, public workers to build quality and sustainable infrastructure alongside the new government. Abu Hena Morshed Zaman, the special guest of the event, said that LGED engineers are talented and will play an important role in the development of the country.

Local Government Department Additional Secretary (Development Division) Md. Nazrul Islam said, we want to work deeply with LGED. Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain, chief engineer of LGED, chairman of the review meeting, said that the engineers of LGED are determined to serve the country and the people. LGED engineers are always working to build the country's infrastructure. Gopal Krishna Debnath, Additional Chief Engineer of LGED delivered the welcome address in the review meeting. Additional Chief Engineer Sheikh Mozakka Jaher, K, M, Zulfikar Ali, Md. Enamul Haque, Md. Abdur Rashid Mia, Supervising Engineer Momin Mojibul Haque Samazi and others also spoke.
