DU VC meets Iranian diplomat

Syed Reza Mirmohammadi, Cultural Counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka, met with Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan at his office on Monday.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on various issues, including further dynamizing the ongoing joint education and research activities between Dhaka University and various universities in Iran. They emphasized on more exchange of teachers, students and researchers between Dhaka University and Iranian universities. They agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding in this regard soon between Dhaka University and Shahid Beheshti University of Iran.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan said that excellent historical relations exist between Bangladesh and Iran. He expressed hope that this friendly relationship will be further strengthened in the future.
