DU's 'Arts, Law and Social Sciences' Unit Admission test held

The admission test for the 1st year undergraduate program of the 'Arts, Law and Social Sciences' unit of Dhaka University for the 2024-2025 academic year was held on Saturday in a fair and peaceful manner.
This admission test was held in 7 other divisional cities of the country including the Dhaka University campus.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan visited the Kala Bhaban examination center.
At this time, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Treasurer Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Arts Prof Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan and Proctor Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed were present.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan expressed satisfaction that the admission test was held in a fair and peaceful manner. He sincerely thanked all the stakeholders for their cooperation in organizing this admission test in a transparent and orderly manner by following the rules and regulations.
It is to be noted that 125,500 students applied for admission against a total of 2,934 seats in this unit. Out of this, 55,165 students applied against 1,777 seats in the humanities branch, 56,330 students against 944 seats in the science branch and 14,05 students against 283 seats in the business education branch.
