Drug dealer arrested with Yabas in Tongi

Gazipur Narcotics Control Department arrested an inter-district drug smuggler with 3,900 pieces of Yaba from Tongi, Gazipur.
The arrest was confirmed by Md. Emdadul Islam Mithun, Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Department, Gazipur District Office.
Based on secret information, On Saturday afternoon, the Narcotics Control Department, Gazipur District Office, led by Assistant Director Shahin Mahmud, conducted an anti-drug operation in the Gafur Market area under Tongi East Police Station and arrested an inter-district drug smuggler named Dulal Mia (65) with 3,900 pieces of Yaba.
Arrested Dulal Mia is the son of Adar Mia of Kashinagar, Brahmanbaria.
In this incident, the inspector of the Narcotics Control Department, Md. Mozammel Haque, filed a regular case under the Narcotics Control Act at Tongi Purba Police Station as the plaintiff.
Deputy Director of the department, Md. Emdadul Islam Mithun, also said, "Our anti-drug campaign will continue."
