
Death threats in protest against opponents' illegal attempt to grab Hindu property in Gopalganj

Gopalganj police submitted an investigation report against land grabbers, fraudsters and illegal occupants in a Hindu-owned property of one acre with 4355 dags of RS 375 and SA 485 Khatian in Ghosherchar Mouza No. 89 of Ward No. 7 adjacent to Gopalganj Municipal.
The investigation has stated in the report that both the documents created by the encroaching group (Registered Document No. 2322 dated 17/4/1962 and Registered Document No. 4411, dated 12/10/1962) are untrue, fabricated, conspired, false, fabricated, baseless, unsubstantiated and created through forgery.
The report further mentions that a Hindu-owned property of RS 375 and SA 485 Khatian of 89 Ghosherchar Mouza under Ward No. 7 adjacent to the municipal city, 100 percent of the land of former Dag 4355 / current Dag 7118, is in the name of Tarini Charan Majhi's father - Chandi Charan Majhi in the RS record and 100 percent of the land is in the name of Tarini Charan Majhi's two sons Narayan Chandra Majumdar and Nagendranath Majumdar in the SA record. Then, when Nagendranath Majumdar died childless, his own brother Narayan Chandra Majumdar became the owner of all the movable and immovable properties. After the death of Narayan Chandra Majumdar, his wife Manada Sundari Majumdar as the heiress and his daughter Mallika Rani Biswas' two sons - 1. Ujjwal Biswas and 2. Jewel Biswas (by inheritance) received 14 percent of the land out of 100 percent, on the basis of the original document No. 6129/13 registered at the Gopalganj SR Office, on 24/09/2013, Mosammat Zakia Begum, the late Liakat Ali Biswas, and the remaining 86 percent of the land has been in possession and care of Mallika Rani Biswas and her two sons for a long time.
It is learnt that recently, after the change of government on August 5, when land grabbers and illegal occupiers started filling the land, Mallika Rani Biswas's son, Shri Ujjwal Biswas, General Secretary of Gopalganj Khatra Sarbjanin Kalibari Temple, has sent a written complaint to the Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner, Gopalganj Police Superintendent, Gopalganj Sadar UNO , Army Camp Commander, Gopalganj NSI, Gopalganj, RAB-8 Madripur and Chairman, ACC Office, Dhaka and ACC Office, Gopalganj, seeking to stop the work and to ensure the possession of the land and the security of his life and family's vehicles and property.
In view of that application, after thoroughly reviewing all the records and documents in the presence of the plaintiff and the defendants, local dignitaries and investigating the matter, SI (retd) Md. Monirul Islam and Officer-in-Charge Mir Md. Sajedur Rahman of Gopalganj Police Station on December 4 and submitted an investigation report to the Superintendent of Police on December 5 under Kind Note No. 7239. After receiving the said investigation report, the opponent, enraged, called the opponent, Sue Tanju Molya (58) Gang, father: deceased Abu Bakar Molya, mother: deceased Fajera Begum, resident of Ghosherchar Uttarpara, Latifpur, Gopalganj from his mobile phone (Mobile: No. 01754653555) and threatened to kill him (call record attached). Threats Later, Ujjwal Biswas filed a GD No. 1238 dated 24/01/2025 with Gopalganj Sadar Police Station seeking the safety of his life and family's vehicles and property.
The procedure was conducted in the Gopalganj learned administrative court and the learned court granted permission for prosecution after the hearing. Then on 30/01/2025, at approximately 5:30 pm, when Jewel Biswas went to their land, his opponents Rohit Biswas Gang, father: deceased Achad Biswas and Ahad Ali Molya Gang, father: deceased Haran Molya, Sarvsang- Ghosherchar, Latifpur, Gopalganj, attacked Jewel Biswas and threatened to kill, disappear, and send them to India with bloody injuries if the two brothers went to the land again.
Earlier, 3-4 years ago, Ujjwal Biswas and Jewel Biswas were called by a tactful call and beaten up in front of a wooden shop on the west side of the Ghosherchar BSCIC Bridge and severely injured. In addition, there are several cases of forgery and extortion against the said land robbers, including forgery of government documents and documents. (Copy attached) For example: Satyen Bain, Ping, deceased Din Bandhu Bain Sang- Ghosherchar Uttarpara, Gopalganj, when he tried to stop the illegal land grabbers, Tanju Molya Gang and his gang broke his hands and feet and broke his hands and feet. He is somehow alive.
The investigation of the Deouty Commissioner, Gopalganj and UNO, Gopalganj Sadar and other agencies are currently going on . Despite attempts to contact the accused defendants in this regard, no statement was received from them as they could not be met.
