Army arrests three terrorists with weapons, drugs in Boalkhali

Based on secret information from local sources, the Army conducted a special operation in Kadhurkhil Union of Boalkhali, Chattogram and arrested three people with weapons and yaba on Thursday.
According to army sources, the special operation was conducted led by Army Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Salahuddin Al Mamun. In the operation, three terrorists and yaba sellers were arrested along with 2 country-made pistols, 3 country-made weapons, 2 hand sticks and 3 mobile phones.
The three arrested are Md. Zakir Hossain (72), son of Ahmad Mia of Rahman Fakir's house in Kadhurkhil Union of Boalkhali Upazila, Md. Arman Hossain Zishan (28), son of Md. Zakir Hossain, and Zubaid Hossain Rabbi (17), son of Gias Uddin.
It was reported from the Boalkhali Army Camp that these terrorists had been harassing and threatening the common people in the area for quite some time, due to which the locals were terrified of them. They had also been supplying Yaba to the area for a long time, due to which the youth of the area were becoming addicted to the drug day by day.
Later, the accused along with the seized goods were handed over to the Boalkhali Police Station in good condition for further legal proceedings.
