After joining AC Land Mezbah Uddin: Fatikchhari Upazila Land Office freed from bribes, people getting service without sufferings

Calling out one after another whose name, he goes forward with papers. At the end of the hearing, he returned with a smile on his face. There is no broker. Such a picture has emerged in Fatikchari Upazila Land Office.
Now upazila residents are getting all land services without any suffering. After his joining on March 24, there has been a big change in the office.
According to land office sources, 3 thousand 805 out of 4 thousand 485 applications were settled in five months from last July to November. 680 pending settlement. 505 of them are named. Citizen Charter is hung in front of the office.
There are rules related to land registration, deposit rejection and deposit consolidation. Earlier, the number of people suffering was very less. Verification of correct information for Namzari, land development tax payment, Khas land block and land purchase and sale is done effortlessly.
The land office also said that most of the service recipients do not understand online or e-registration. Therefore, more than one person has been appointed in the office, who assist the beneficiaries of these services. Now all services are being settled within few days of application. Expatriates are getting service on priority basis.
For this, the government fixed fee is collected. Earlier the traditional method used to take a lot of time. The brokers also extorted money from the customers as they wished.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mejbah Uddin said, "After joining, I have carried out extensive campaign under government guidance. Later, I organized a regular public hearing. People are now taking all the services of the land for granted. There are also plenty of cows.
Mejbah also said, I have served with honesty and integrity. Now there have been positive changes in every aspect of land office. I want whoever comes after me to continue this trend.
