People's lives disrupted in the bone-shaking winter. Rural people are overwhelmed. But ignoring everything, Mohammad Hossain, the founding chairman of the voluntary organization Hossain Youth Foundation, went out in the darkness of the night with a blanket.
He and the volunteers of his organization have distributed blankets and winter clothes among the helpless people, rickshaw drivers, every night for the past three days in four unions, municipalities, railway stations, bus stands of the upazila and distributed blankets and winter clothes.
Hossain Youth Foundation volunteers Sheikh Aynal Ahsan, Shahinur Rahman Shaheen, Sazen Hossain Satchu, Sajib Shahriar, Ibrahim Mahmud, Jamil Hossain, Elias Hossain, Asadul Mitam, Mizanur Rahman Parth, Musabbir Mridha and others were also present in the program.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Hossain said that since the severity of the winter has increased in the last few days, the volunteers of my organization went around the different villages of the upazila and gave blankets to protect them from the cold. The organization will continue this activity until the end of the winter season.
He said, if the rich and well-to-do people help at least one person in the cold, then the poor people would not have to suffer the hardships of winter.
On Sunday (December 29) under the initiative of Hossain Youth Foundation, winter clothing blankets were given to more than two hundred children who were reading the Quran in the mosque in Torap Sheikh's Para area of Daulatdia Union.
