National Social Service Day celebrated in Feni

Feni,Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam inaugurated the first program of the day's walkathon competition by flying pigeons in the district Muktijoddha Complex Bhavan premises at 10.00 am on the occasion of National Social Service Day celebration .
After the walkathon competition, "Open discussion on formation of welfare state" was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam was the chief guest in the free chat held by Deputy Director of District Social Services Office Saiful Islam Chowdhury. Additional Superintendent of Police Saidur Rahman was present as special guest.
Some student representatives of the anti-discrimination movement participated in the chat and expressed their opinion. Besides, executives of voluntary organizations participated in the chat and expressed their opinions.
The chief guest said in his speech that Bangladesh will move towards the welfare state step by step. For this purpose, everyone has to perform their work properly. After free chat, prizes are distributed among the six winners in the walkathon competition.
