180 youth get climate protection training in Morelganj
Md.Nazmul, Morelganj (Bagerhat)
Some 180 youths have been given climate protection training in Bagerhat's Morelganj. The training was organized at the initiative of Youthnet Global and in collaboration with the British Council and ActionAid Bangladesh.
This workshop was conducted in 6 phases in 3 areas under the "Building Agency of Youth in Climate Action 2.O" project from last November 12 to December 25.
The training covers climate change impacts, adaptation and mitigation strategies and sustainable initiativesPresent as a trainer, ActionAid Bangladesh Deputy Manager Partnership and Program Md. Arif Siddiqui and ActionAid Bangladesh inspirer Sidratul Muntaha and othersParticipants in the training workshop develop action plans to solve local problems and are awarded certificates at the end of the training.
Through this initiative, youth are expected to play a leadership role through public involvement in the use of local resources
