At the initiative of Rupganj Upazila administration, an autorickshaw was provided to Mujibur Rahman, and a cow was given to Hosneara Begum. The distribution ceremony was held on Wednesday morning at Upazila Parishad premises, where UNO Saiful Islam formally handed over the autorickshaw and the cow.

Receiving the battery-run autorickshaw, Mujibur Rahman, son of Hamidullah from Birabo area, said, I am an extremely poor man. Being unemployed, I was passing days in great hardship, often without food. The Rupganj Upazila administration has arranged employment for me by giving me this battery-run autorickshaw. I am very happy. From now on, I will no longer have to pass my days in hunger with my family. May Allah bless the UNO sir for giving me this opportunity.
Hosneara Begum, daughter of Umed Ali Munshi from Naora area, expressed her joy after receiving the cow, earlier, I managed my family with a cow. But after my cow died from electrocution, I became destitute. Hearing about my situation, UNO Saiful Sir gave me a cow. I am very happy. This cow will give me new hope for the future.
