Enlightened people, gathering of righteous held in Jamalpur

 The enlightened People and Justice conference in Jamalpur was held at 11.00 am on April 3 at Banipakuria Paltan moor.

Alokto Banipakuria organized this event to distribute prizes among the winners of the quiz competition with the aim of expanding education, humanitarian service, and building a crime and drug-free society.

The chief guest at the conference was Senior Secretary (Retd) A.K.M. Ihsanul Haque, Ministry of Public Administration.

Shah Jamal, a correspondent of the Daily Ittefaq/New Nation and president of the Melandah Reporters Unity, presided over the meeting.

The opening speech was delivered by Maulana Mufti Ramzan Ali Khan, a researcher at the Department of Comparative Theology at the Dawah Institute.

Jamalpur Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Azizul Haque, Officer-in-Charge of Melandah Police Station Md. Shafiqul Islam, 71's guerrilla Md. Abul Hossain, Principal of Umir Uddin Pilot School and College Mohan Talukder, British Navy officer (Royal Navy) and World Scout Organization advisor Md. Mehedi Hasan, Former president of Jamalpur Press Club Nurul Alam Siddiqui, president of Jamalpur District Press Club and BNCC Fazle Elahi Makam, DGM of Rupali Bank Abdul Quader Jilani, writer Sultan Mahmud, Hamdard Lab. Director and Editor of Change TV Amirul Mominin Manik, Dost Aid Bangladesh's Head of Accounts and Admin Kohinur Alam Chowdhury, Maoist Abdur Rahim Farege Hathazari, and others attended the event.

Chairman of Muslim Unity Council Mufti Rahmatullah Al Hossaini, Lecturer of Satkhira Kalaroa College Nazmul Hossain, President of Jamalpur National Teachers' Federation Mao. Mokhlesur Rahman, Chairman of Child Care Foundation Journalist Fazlul Karim, and other people also spoke at the event.

The event included the distribution of prizes among the winners of the quiz competition and the unveiling of the book "The Boy on the Hill" written by fiction writer Sultam Mahmud.

The media partners of the event were Daily Ittefaq, New Nation, Daily Khabar Patra, Apandesh, Daily Ajker Jamalpur, and Pallikantha Pratidin. The event was written and presented by Hafez Jamil and Mokhlesur Rahman.
