Relief materials have been distributed among flood victims in Porsha, Naogaon on Tuesday afternoon.
The relief materials received from the Disaster Management Department were distributed among 30 families in the Jele Para area adjacent to the Punarbhaba River in Ward No. 4 of Nitpur Union of the upazila.
The relief materials were distributed by Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Acting UNO Nabila Ferdous. Project Implementation Officer Mahmudul Haque Titu, Social Service Officer Shahidul Islam and other officials were present at the time. It is worth noting that water from the upstream entered about 10-15 houses in the area. As a result, when the administration came to the notice, the relief materials were distributed among the flood-affected families.
