Misbehaviour with journalist Riktu : Journalists give 72-hour ultimatum to take action against Adv Bishu in Gaibandha

 A protest meeting was  organized by the Gaibandha Press Club at its  Auditorium on Tuesday afternoon  protesting the misbehaviour of Advocate Gautam Kumar Chakraborty Bishu  with journalist Riktu Prasad in Gaibandha court.  
 
Journalists urged Advocate Bishu to  apologize  unconditionally from the protest meeting and he was given a 72 -hour ultimatum. The Gaibandha Bar Association was urged to take disciplinary action against him, otherwise, a greater program will be announced against Gautam Kumar Chakraborty Bishu.
 
Speakers at the protest meeting said that Gaibandha District Correspondent  of DBC News Riktu Prasad went to collect bail fraud news  in Gaibandha court on Monday. When he went to the second floor of the Gaibandha Bar building to take comment of the lawyer, lawyer Gautam Kumar Chakraborty Bishu, he  misehaved with him . 
 
The speakers also said that it is very blasphemous to behave in her professional duties to the well -known women leader and journalist of Gaibandha. It is not only on Ricku Prasad, but it is an attempt to overall the freedom of journalism and the honor of women journalists. 
 
Journalists have the right to be protected from all kinds of harassment while performing their professional dutiesGaibandha Press Club Vice-President Rezajanabi Raju presided over the protest meeting, General Secretary Idrisuzzaman Mona, Vice-president Shafiul Islam, Joint Secretary Javed Hossain and Milan Khandaker and members of the press club spoke. 
 
 The speakers immediately demanded the remedy of the incident to the district bar. They also sought the cooperation of the majority lawyers in this regard
