Land Service Assistance Centre inaugurated in Moheshkhali

Land Service Assistance Centre was inaugurated on Tuesday at Ashik Computer House located on Court Road in Moheshkhali Municipality.
The chief guest at the inauguration ceremony was UNO Mohammad Hedayet Ullah. The special guests were Assistant Commissioner (Land) Abu Jafar Majumdar and the acting principal of Moheshkhali College, Shahed Mannan.
The services that will be provided at the centre to ensure smart land services include - payment of land development tax, e-registration, issuance of khatian (land record), collection of land maps, payment of rent, and composition of deeds and agreements.
Speakers at the inaugural ceremony stated that this centre will play an important role in delivering land services easily and quickly to the doorsteps of customers. We hope to resolve various complexities related to land and make digital services more accessible to the public.
Locals have reported that this initiative will significantly reduce the hardships faced by the general people of Moheshkhali.
