Information meeting on the occasion of the broadcast of New Buds-2025 in Jhalakathi

An information meeting was held in Jhalokati on the occasion of the broadcast of the popular program "Natun Kudi-2025" on Bangladesh Television for children and teenagers. The meeting was held at meeting room of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Tuesday afternoon, organized by the District Administration and District Information Office.
The meeting was chaired by District Information Officer Lelin Bala and was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ashrafur Rahman as the chief guest. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Kawsar Hossain, District Education Officer Shahinur Alam, and Cultural Officer Kamruzzaman were present as special guests.
Information Officer Lelin Bala said that the auditions for Jhalokati, Pirojpur and Barisal, which are included in Barisal Region-1, will be held in Barisal. Boys and girls aged 6-15 years can participate in a total of 9 categories including acting, recitation, storytelling, dance, singing and Hamd-Na'at. The application will be open from August 15 to September 5. Applications can be made free of charge by filling out the Google form on the BTV website or by post/e-mail.
Deputy Commissioner Ashrafur Rahman said,
Culture is the soul of a nation. A nation that is ahead in culture, that nation is developed in all fields. After a long break, Notun Kudi, one of the platforms for developing the talent of the country's children and adolescents, is about to start. This event will inspire the new generation in patriotism, culture and art. Our children and adolescents will have to participate in various cultural activities including songs, poems, recitations, plays. In this, they will grow up beautifully, develop patriotism and human values. Events like 'Notun Kudi' are not only an opportunity to express talent, but also the power to take our society and nation forward. I hope that the students of schools and madrasas of Jhalakathi will actively participate and we will make it to the top ten.
