A long two day farmers' training was held on the process of making cattle feed at 4 pm on Saturday in the Jamalpur.
It was organized by the Animal Nutrition Department of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).
Forty grass growers and farmers participated in this training at the Jamalpur University of Science and Technology (JUST) campus.
Hands-on experience is provided in the process of producing improved cattle feed while maintaining nutritional value, with emphasis on perennial grass cultivation, silage preparation, and livestock feed preservation.
JUST Pro-VC Prof Dr. Mosharraf Hossain was present as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the farmers.
Funded by Climate Smart Funding, Dr. Khan Mohammad Saiful Islam, Principal Researcher-Teacher and Project Chairman of BAKU, JUST Proctor Dr. Sadiqur Rahman Emon, Assistant Researcher Prof Jasmine Akhter, University Teachers Assistant Prof Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Shishir, and Assistant Prof Oliyar Rahman were present.
