Bagha Police have arrested a thief and a total of 5 people including Yaba, Phensedyl, and marijuana in a drug recovery operation in Bagha, Rajshahi. They were arrested by conducting a raid at various places in the upazila on Saturday night.
According to police sources, on Saturday (June 28) night, the drug recovery team conducted raids in various areas of the police station and arrested Mukaddes Prang alias Moka (34), son of the deceased Uzir Prang of Khanpur village in Gargari UP area, with 5 bottles of Phensedyl, Rana (32), son of Khorshed of Piyadapara in Arani UP, with 10 pieces of Yaba tablets, Rashedul (40), son of Ramjit of Kaligram, with 500 grams of ganja, Nasir Uddin (44), son of the deceased Ramiz Uddin of Bausa Digha Dabiyatola village, with one kilogram of ganja, and Kanu's son of Tepukuria village, a professional thief involved in the theft incident from Baju Bagha UP area.
They arrested Yazul (50) with the stolen money and the rifle used in the theft.
Bagha Police Station OC Asaduzzaman said that the case was sent to the learned court on Sunday (June 29) morning as per the rules.
