WDB opens control room, cancels leave of employees

Bangladesh Water Development Board's (BWDB) flood forecasting and warning centre has opened a control room due to the flash flood in the north-eastern part of the country.
The numbers of the control room are 01318234962, 01765405576, 01559728158 and 01674356208 and the e-mail addresses are ffwcbwdb@gmail.com and ffwc05@yahoo.com.
Besides, the leave of the officials and employees of the water development board of the flood-affected districts has been cancelled and they have been asked to stay at their respective workplaces and perform their duties properly.
Sardar Uday Raihan, Executive Engineer, Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre Dhaka (Mobile: 01318234962) has been appointed as the Focal Officer of the Flood Forecasting Center for flood information.
