A view exchange meeting on 'What Kind of Leadership Do We Want 'were held in Jhenaigati at the hall room of the Local Rice Mill and Food Traders Association by the Upazila BNP and conscious citizens on Wednesday afternoon.
The chief guest of the event was Md. Lutfar Rahman, Joint Convener of the Upazila BNP. The meeting was presided over by Md. Abdur Rashid, President of the Dhanshail Union BNP, and conducted by Shamim Mostafa, former President of the Upazila Chhatra Dal.
Among others present were: Joint Convener of Upazila BNP and President of Hatibandha Union BNP Saidul Haque, President of Gauripur Union BNP Professor Abdul Momin, General Secretary of Malijhikanda Union BNP and former student leader Md. Motahar Hossain Belal, General Secretary of Nalkura Union BNP and UP Chairman Md. Rukunuzzaman, Former President of Upazila Jubo Dal Momtaz Uddin, Senior Joint Convener of Upazila Jubo Dal Kamrul Islam Rubel, Member Secretary of Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Shahidullah, Joint Convener of Upazila Krishak Dal Rezaul Karim, Convener of Upazila Chhatra Dal Arefin Sohag, Senior Joint Convener of Upazila Chhatra Dal Abdul Motaleb, Joint Convener of Chhatra Dal Mizanur Rahman Tarzan, among others.
It is mentioned that in the meeting organized by the Upazila BNP and conscious citizens, speakers emphasized the importance of responsible leadership with development, transparency, and integrity.
At the same time, they urged the Acting Chairman of BNP, Tarique Rahman, to kindly consider appointing Md. Lutfar Rahman, Joint Convener of Jhenaigati Upazila BNP, as Convener or Member Secretary in the upcoming committee, as a leader with a clean image.
