HSC exams held in peaceful atmosphere in Rajshahi

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination 2025 under the Rajshahi Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has begun in a peaceful atmosphere in Rajshahi. The Bengali first paper examination began at 10 am and ended at 1 pm.
According to the information provided by the Rajshahi Education Board, 68,960 male students and 64,653 female students are participating in this board. This year, students from 755 colleges under the education board are participating in the HSC examination. In addition, there are 207 centers in the eight districts included in the education board. This year, 1,33,613 students are participating in the HSC examination from the Rajshahi Board. This is 4,544 less than last year. In 2024, 1,38,157 students participated in the HSC examination in the Rajshahi Board. In 2023, 1,40,115 students participated in the HSC examination in the Rajshahi Board. And in 2022, there were 1,29,423 students. This time, 33,962 students are participating in the science department, 87,972 in the humanities department, and 11,557 students are participating in the commerce department.
The examination will be held at 207 centers from 755 educational institutions in 8 districts under the Rajshahi Education Board. Of these, 14,898 male and 12,054 female students will appear in Rajshahi district, 5,335 male and 4,442 female students in Chapainawabganj, 5,837 male and 5,433 female students in Natore, 6,522 male and 5,961 female students in Naogaon,
8,444 male and 9,481 female students are participating in the exam in Pabna, 11,496 male and 11,285 female students in Sirajganj, 13,531 male and 12,565 female students in Bogra, and 2,897 male and 3,432 female students in Joypurhat district.
Authorities say all preparations have been made to conduct the exams smoothly. Students have been asked to follow health guidelines due to the coronavirus pandemic. The exams will continue till the end of July.
After inspecting the examination at Rajshahi College in the morning, Mofakhkharul Islam, Chairman of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Rajshahi, said, the examination has started in a very good environment. We have not received any reports of any disturbances or problems anywhere. InshaAllah, the examination has started in a beautiful and orderly environment at 207 centers under the Rajshahi Board.
