VGF rice distributed among fishermen in Goalando Municipality

VGF rice has been distributed among the registered fishermen in Rajbari Goalando Municipality under Government Humanitarian Food Assistance Program for the period of ban on Jatka extraction during the financial year 2023-2024.
This rice (80 kg per fisherman for 2 months) was distributed to Goalando Municipality around 12 noon on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Upazila Executive Officer Jyoti Bikas Chandra, Municipal Secretary Md. Ruhul Amin, Municipal Panel Mayor. Nasir Uddin Roni, municipal councilor. Nizam Uddin, Assistant Field Assistant of Upazila Fisheries Office Krishna Lal Das and others were present.
According to Upazila Fisheries Office sources, this rice has been distributed among 84 fishermen of Goalando Municipality under the government humanitarian food assistance program for the period of Jatka harvesting ban.
