State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Md. Mohibbur Rahman MP said, the upcoming upazila parishad election will be a free, fair and impartial.

Bangabandhu's daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's clear declaration is that the election will be fearless, transparent and a peaceful election.

Therefore, as a worker of Sheikh Hasina, I am making it clear to all the election-related officials including members of the law and order protection forces that my government is ready to give you any kind of assistance in implementing the directive of the Prime Minister.

"I will give my vote to whoever I am happy with" I will follow the Prime Minister's declaration even if it is for my life.'

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the monthly general meeting of the Upazila Parishad organized by Kalapara Upazila Administration of Patuakhali on Saturday afternoon.

He also said, "I have given you some messages from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Awami League in view of the upazila elections. According to the instructions of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina, my constituency Kalapara and Rangabali upazila elections will be completely free, fair, impartial, non-partisan amid festive mood '

He also said, 'I want to say clearly to those who will be candidates, people will vote, so candidates should go door to door to get votes. Awami League is Bangabandhu's party, Awami League is Sheikh Hasina's party. Awami League does not do politics based on terror. Awami League does ideology politics.'

With Upazila Parishad Chairman SM Rakibul Ahsan in the chair and moderated by UNO Md. Rabiul Islam, Municipal Mayor Bipul Chandra Howladar, OC Ali Ahmed, Nilganj UP Chairman Md. Babul Mia among others spoke in the meeting.
