The government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has arranged the universal pension protection scheme by thinking about the future of the people of the country.

UNO Saida Khanam inaugurated the registration of pension protection scheme in the upazila parishad hall room on Monday morning.

Upazila administration organized the registration of pension protection scheme under the National Pension Authority under the Ministry of Finance in Charghat Upazila of Rajshahi. Obaidul Islam, district Correspondent of The Asian Age English newspaper, made the first registration during the registration opening of the pension protection scheme on Monday morning.

At that time, UNO Saida Khanam said that this great initiative of the government will bring blessings everywhere in the country including Charghat Upazila. At some point all men and women become unfit for work due to age.

In many families elderly parents do not show interest in bhakti, shroddha. Moreover, there is a lack of fulfillment of their personal needs. This scheme will be very helpful for them too. Every person between 18-50 can register his pension protection scheme before crossing the age limit for registration of pension protection scheme.

Apart from this, campaigning is being done in various areas of the Ujella regarding all the benefits of registration of Pension Protection Scheme. In this regard, a counseling center and registration process is ongoing in the upazila hall room. Till the time of giving this information, 54 people have been registered in the pension scheme said UNO.

From Monday morning, men and women of different ages in the upazila are trying to know about the pension protection scheme and many have started registration. People from various professions including journalists are showing interest in this pension scheme.

At that time, upazila project implementation officer SM Shamim Ahmed, social service officer Rasheduzzaman, village development officer Zahurul Islam, AED Mahamuda Begum Ghuine and various journalists of upazila and local people from various professions were present.
