During Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with President Donald Trump on Thursday (February 13) , the religious minority community of Bangladesh living in America has announced a massive rally outside the White House.

it is learnt that several organizations, including the Awami League, have taken up a program to inform the White House about violence such as attacks, murders and injuries on party leaders, workers and supporters in Bangladesh, as well as looting and burning of houses. Extensive activity is being observed among the expatriate Bangladeshis regarding these programs.

After Foreign Minister Vikram Mishri announced the detailed program of Trump's visit to the United States in Delhi, a Facebook group called Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council, Hindu Milan Mela in the United States is sharing information about the preparations for the rally in front of the White House. Dinesh Majumdar, on behalf of this Facebook group, said that expatriates from Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia are expected to participate in this program in large numbers.

US Awami League President Siddiqur Rahman said that all the permissions for the 'human chain' in front of the White House have been collected from 12 noon on February 13.

Workers of Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland State Awami League are also on the field in support of this program under the banner titled 'Hatao Yunus Bachao Desh-Sheikh Hasina's order'. ( Oust Yunus, save country -Sheikh Hasina's order).

Expatriates from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, California, and Texas are also expected to participate.
